Good bye cuz and good friend. Thank you for teaching me about compassion, humility, and humor. But I will never reach your level of attainment.

Father Dick was a kind soul, a compassionate priest and a dear friend. His joyful approach to life and the challenges we all face, was truly a breath of fresh air. He married me, out of the Church, to a Catholic man--honoring my cherished traditions along with those of the Catholic marriage ceremony. He did the same when my children were born. Rest in peace Father. You will always have a special place in my family's heart.

Dear Family, I am sorry to read that Dick has passed. He officiated at our wedding, baptized both our children, and was a long time friend and council. We and the community will miss him greatly. Much love during this somber time, Tom Meier and Family

Father Dick, you were a dear friend and helped me grow in my faith in many ways. You gave me great solace after the death of Angela and I will never forget your generosity! May you rest in our Lords arms for eternity. See you again someday!

Although I only met with Father Dick a few times over the years I always felt a strong connection with him. He was a man who had a big heart and made you feel at ease. My parents and i were at his going away Mass at Saint Mary's a couple years ago and I was impressed with the turnout and gladdened to see some of the many people whose lives he had touched over a long lifetime of serving the Church.

Rest In Peace cousin. Thanks for your wise words and baptizing both of my kids despite me living a hundred miles away at the time. You will be missed.

I am blessed to have known Father Dick, great uncle to my Grandchildren. I was also extremely fortunate to have scored the seat next to "Uncle" on several Thanksgiving meals. What a kind and gentle soul; he will be missed by all who were privileged to know him.

Revere, Ma,
My heart goes out to you Theresa. I can only ve wanted to call you imagine the tremendous void you have in your heart. I have been praying for you and Joe, knowing how difficult it has been for you. As you know, it is a big void in my life also. However, he was only a part of my life for 34 years, all of which I treasure. I regret I was unable to attend either the wake or the Mass. I have wanted to call you but I feel it is too soon. My love and prayers go out to you and your family. Anne

I met Father Dick in 1968 at Blessed Sacrament when I was a CYO baseball and basketball coach and he was the CYO Director. We became friends, he started mentoring me and helped me in my personal life. In 1975 when I married my wife, he performed the ceremony; when we had 3 children, he was there to baptize them all. We stayed friends always. Our family took part in celebrating his 25th Anniversary at IC in Revere, and his 50th Anniversary at St. Mary's as well. When we bought our house Dick came for dinner. While he was here we asked him to bless the house. Dick looked at us and said "My Mother always told me to bring bread..that way you don't have to work for your supper." His sense of humor was the greatest and his personality was the best. He will fit in nicely in Heaven. We all love you Father Dick. Dan,Maryrose,Danny,Craig and Kaitlyn Lloyd

I met Fr Dick in February 1972 on TEC #10 at the Cenacle Retreat House in Brighton. Although I've only seen him 3 or 4 times since then, he has always had a major impact on my spiritual life. I am sure his family, personal and church, will miss him terribly. His humor, compassion, and love have always been a model for me, something to strive for. I look forward to meeting him again.
