Daniel Gomes DePina (66) of Brockton died February 18th in the Boston Medical Center.
He was born in Sao Filipe, Fogo, Cabo Verde son of the late Rui DePina and Ana Gomes. Daniel was a retired carpenter and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Bridgewater. He enjoyed singing, watching soccer and socializing with family and friends.
Daniel is survived by 8 sons, Joao DePina of Portugal, Valter and Danny DePina both of Brockton, Vanildo, Dino, Wileker, Augusto and Daniel DePina all of Cabo Verde, 6 daughters, Danielle, Daneza, Nanda, Anilda, Ceila and Linda DePina all of Cabo Verde, a sister Maria Helena Gomes of Stoughton, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Tuesday February 21st from 4-8 pm. Funeral Services in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 547 Manley Street West Bridgewater Wednesday February 22nd at 9 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
