Ruth Francois Mardy (83) of Taunton died March 23rd at home under hospice care surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Marcel Mardy.
She was born in Cavaillon, Haiti daughter of the late Chevrinel Francois and Anais (Ferville) Francois. Ruth was a self employed dress maker and enjoyed listening to music. She was known to all as a peaceful and caring person.
Ruth is survived by 2 sons, Pierre Marcel Mardy and Jean Garry Mardy both of Haiti, 2 daughters, Marie Adlene Mardy of Canada and Marie Florence Mardy of Taunton, 3 sisters, Rose Francois of Canada, Dieula Francois of Haiti and Imane Radif of Florida, many grandchildren, Maecha Metayer, Charlotte Jean Baptiste, Angelo Garly and Maluna Jean Baptiste, 2 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews including Etienne Francois, Redena Rainbow, her adopted son Robenson.
Funeral Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Friday April 8th at 10 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton. Viewing from 9 am prior to services.
