Robert Simmons (76) of Brockton died May 20th in the Vero Health and Rehab of Amesbury. He was the husband of Mary (Campbell) Simmons of Brockton.
He was born in James Island, South Carolina, son of the late Ellis Simmons and Marie Delesline. Robert worked for the town of James Island, South Carolina in the sanitation department. He was a member of the New Jerusalem Tabernacle Church and enjoyed dancing and watching all sports especially football.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 sons, Robert Jr. and Kindrell Simmons both of Brockton, 2 daughters, Feloneze Plummer of Taunton and Shannon Simmons of Brockton, a sister Evelyn Smalls of South Carolina, 2 grandchildren, Jessica and Brandon, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Thursday June 3rd at 11 am. Visitation from 9 am prior to services. Cremation to follow.
