Obituary

Adam Jayden Gomes (11) of Brockton died May 13th in the Tufts Medical Center, Boston.

He was born in Brockton son of Winy Gomes of Brockton and Demarcus Moore of Alabama. Adam was an excellent athlete playing football for the Brockton Boxers and enjoyed gymnastics. He was wise beyond his years, always communicating with his older neighbors, trying to help the homeless and also was to follow in his family footsteps and join the military. Adam also loved spending time with his sister and wanted to be a judge. He will always be known as a free spirited kid that tried to help everyone.

In addition to his parents he is survived by 2 brothers, Cairo Mars of Brockton and Mason Perry of Alabama, a sister Arya Gomes of Brockton, his maternal grandparents, Diva Semedo and Georges Gomes and wife Paulette, his paternal grandparents, Clarence Shorter and Martha Moore, his step father, Carl Mars of Brockton, 5 aunts, Trista Gomes, Patricia Semedo, Lasonya Moore, Tanya Flakes and Delissa Moore, 5 uncles, Walter and Eugelson Semedo, Anthony, Demestris and Clarence Moore.

Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Sunday May 23rd from 5:30-7:30 pm. Services in the Funeral Home Monday May 24th at 9 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church, 71 E Main Street Brockton at 10:30 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.

Due to the COVID-19 Massachusetts Phase 3 Guidelines the Funeral Home will be open to 40 percent occupancy, face masks are required and please practice social distancing. We are all in this together.
