Charles R. Rayburn Sr. (74) of Brockton died May 11th at home surrounded by his companion of many years Mary McKellar.
He was born in Boston, son of the late Irene McDonough and Walter Saunders. Charles served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict and worked as a truck driver in the transportation industry.
In addition to his companion he is survived by 2 sons, Charles W. Rayburn of Taunton and Paul S. Rayburn of Las Vegas, Nevada, 2 stepsons, James Gallagher and Vincent Soto both of Brockton and his grandson Jason.
Due to the COVID-19 State, National Mandate and for the Health and Safety of the Community, Services for Charles Rayburn will be held privately at the family's convenience. Cremation to follow.
