Marie Louissaint (81) of Brockton died September 3rd in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Thomonde, Haiti daughter of the late Eliazan Eustache and Michelia Louissaint and worked in retail sales in her country. Marie was a communicant of Christ the King Church and enjoyed cooking and was known for her independence.
Survivors include 2 sons, Jean Claude Baptiste of Brockton and Pierre Lacroix of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, her step daughter Yoldy Baptiste of Brockton, 6 grandchildren, Marlyn, Kasou, Brandan, Danisha, Marion and Genevive, several nieces and nephews.
Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Thursday September 19th at 9 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church 54 Lyman Street Brockton at 10 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation in the Funeral Home Wednesday September 18th from 6-9 pm.
