Charles Fortune (69) of Stoughton died March 26th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center.
He was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti son of the late John Fortune and Soline Nacivide (Israel) Fortune. Charles was a mechanic by trade and owned his own auto mechanic shop. He loved music and played in various bands including the Magnum band.
Charles is survived by 4 daughters, Janice Fortune of Florida, Stephanie, Charline and Ester Fortune all of Brockton, 2 brothers, Yvon Mondesir and Patrick Butler both of Brockton, a sister Gessey Mondesir of Stoughton, 4 grandchildren, Anya Sirius, Charid Sirius, Khloe Emmanuelle Moore and Amaris Arielle Moore.
Funeral Services will be held in the Brockton Temple 7th Day Adventist Church 237 Court Street Brockton Sunday April 7th at 10 am. Viewing 9 am prior to services. A Graveside Service will be held Monday April 8th in Melrose Cemetery 88 N Pearl Street Brockton at 10:30 am.
