Jeremiah K. Stroud (33) of Brockton died December 8th in the Brockton Hospital. He was the loving husband of Tracy Jane (Castanino) Stroud.
He was born in Tchula, Mississippi son of Michele Denise (Shanks) Stroud of Brockton. Jeremiah worked in the restaurant business as a chef. He loved to write songs, sing and took pride in his appearance. Jeremiah was known as a hard working family man, loved God and especially his children.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by a son Jeremiah Jr. Stroud of Weymouth, a daughter Emma Stroud of Weymouth, 7 brothers, Tommie, Timothy, Jonathon, Isaiah, Mark Stroud, Micheal Hollar and Tyee Shanks all of Brockton, 4 sisters, Nori Neto of Avon, Tomica LaBlanc of Fall River, Connie Stroud of Springfield and Victoria Stroud of Brockton, (grandson of the late Constance Shanks), many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services in the Trinity Baptist Church 1367 Main Street Brockton Friday December 14th from 11-1 pm. Cremation to follow. Visitation in the Church Thursday December 13th from 5-9 pm.
