Rui Carlos Carreiro (51) of Brockton died November 18th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Titiana Silveira Vicente.
He was born in Praia, Santiago, Cabo Verde son of the late Joao Carreiro and Maria Rosa (Sena) Carreiro of Rhode Island. Rui was a truck driver by trade. He enjoyed soccer, American football, the Celtics and socializing with family and friends.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his son Kevin Carreiro of Rhode Island, 5 daughters, Rosemary Carreiro of Rhode Island, Kiara, Tiara, Rihanna and Fabienne Carreiro all of Brockton, a brother Victor Carreiro of Rhode Island, 2 sisters, Rosy Carreiro of Rhode Island and Ana Carreiro-Oliver of Brockton, 2 grandchildren, Malaysia and Jaciah.
Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Saturday November 24th at 8 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church 71 E Main Street Brockton at 9 am. Visitation in the Funeral Home Friday November 23rd from 6-8 pm. Burial will take place in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton Monday November 26th at 9 am.
