Mario B. Pina (81) of Taunton died November 14th in the Brockton Hospital.
He was born in Figueira Pavao, Fogo, Cabo Verde son of the late Manuel and Guilhermina Ledo De Pina. Mario worked in the shoe making industry and was a communicant of St. Edith Stein Church. He enjoyed watching soccer and wrestling.
Survivors include a son Jean Louis Brito and a daughter Alina DePina Baptista both of Brockton, a brother Mario Ledo DePina of Cabo Verde, a grandchild and several nieces and nephews including Orlando Araujo of Taunton.
Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Saturday November 17th at 9:30 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church 71 E Main Street Brockton at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation in the Funeral Home Friday November 16th from 4-8 pm.
