Antonio Luis Goncalves (61) of Brockton died December 15,2017 in Brockton unexpectedly. He was the loving husband of Catarina Goncalves.
He was born in Mosteiros, Fogo, Cabo Verde, son of Clarinda (Teixeira) Gomes and the late Moises DaRosa. Antonio was a self-employed construction worker and a hard-working man. He loved to sing and play musical instruments. He was a kid-at-heart and enjoyed entertaining his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Isaiah Goncalves and Moises Goncalves; two daughters, Miriam Goncalves and Clarinda Goncalves; two brothers, Amilcar and Pedro; eight sisters, Julia, Lidia, Marilena, Marilidia, Eugenia, Candida, Francisca and Helena; five grandchildren, Esther, Levi, Joseph, Amari and Miah. He was the brother of the late Joao Goncalves and Victor DaRosa. He left behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services from the Cape Verdean 7th Day Adventist Church L Street Brockton Friday December 22th at 10 am. Viewing 9 am prior to services. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Thursday December 21st from 6-9 pm.
