Obituary

Kyndra L. Small, (Kyn Kin, K K) 16, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 22, 2024, in her sleep after unexpected medical complications. Kyndra was born in Worcester, daughter of Jessi Small and Steven Holland. She previously lived in Worcester and was currently a sophomore at West Springfield High School. Kyndra had a exuberant loving personality and was both eclectic and eccentric in the way she lived.

She loved listening to music, especially country and gospel music, formed by her grandparents William Small Sr and Penny DeSalvio. Kyndra never passed up an opportunity to dance, and would have anyone join her. She also could often be found playing and watching YouTube which would make her laugh, enjoyed local parks, swimming, singing, surrounded by her family and countless Minnie Mouse items.

Kyndra was loved by all who knew her. Whenever she entered the room, she brought happiness and joy, and she brought smiles to everyone around her. Shine the light.

Besides her parents, she leaves behind a sister, Hailey Henry of Marysville, OH; her brothers, Landon Small of Chicopee, John Small of Springfield, Tyler Banfill of Worcester, Carmine H. Kessler of Worcester, and Leonidas Holland, of New Hampshire, also many cousins, aunts, uncles, and especially her two nephews Brian and Bennett Price of Marysville, OH.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 5th the event is on Facebook via Sheena Cossette, Hailey and Sophia, Memorial contributions in memory of Kyndra can be made to Autism Speaks, 1 East 33rd Street 4th Floor, New York, NY 10016, to help others dealing with autism and seizures.
