Loralei Elizabeth Golden, infant daughter of Kalani West and Peyton Golden, died Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, April 28, 2024, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with Rudolph Dobbs and Rodney Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Steve Hand officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Sunday.
Loralei was born January 4, 2024, in Coffee County, Georgia. She overcame several health challenges in her young life and was a beautiful angel while here on Earth.
She is survived by her mother, Kalani West of Douglas; father, Peyton Golden of Fitzgerald; brothers: Kager West and Kohen West, both of Douglas; grandparents: Thomas Patrick Peyton of Florida and Cheryl & Mike James and Tom & Jackie Golden, all of Fitzgerald; great-grandparents: Donald Peyton of Florida and Evelyn Golden of Tifton; along with aunts and an uncle: Kaylie Ledbetter, Krystina Goram, Kelsea Fender, and Bryan Golden as well as several cousins including Jayden Goram and Dax Barnwell. Loralei was preceded in death by a grandmother, Kharma Altman; and great-grandparents: Linda Ledbetter, Ruth Weeks, Bobby Mixon, and Pearson Golden; and a great-great-grandmother, Leilani Foster.
Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, is in charge of arrangements.
