Obituary

Todd G. Sullivan of Winthrop passed away suddenly on April 21, 2024. He was 55 years old. Born in Boston, he was the cherished son of Mary J. (Gavin) and John R. Sullivan of Winthrop.

Todd was the dear brother of Shawn Sullivan of South Boston and Amy Sullivan of Winthrop. He was the loving nephew of Michael and Connie Gavin of Winthrop, Eileen Lewis of Maryland, and Robert and Jeannie Sullivan of South Boston. He was also survived by many loving cousins and dear friends. He graduated from Winthrop High School and attended Arizona State. He loved being a resident of Winthrop and enjoyed spending hours down Winthrop Center visiting with his local friends. He was a kind and generous soul who loved helping people. If you were lucky enough to know him then you know he had a heart of gold.

Todd was a member of the Winthrop Lodge of Elks #1078 and proprietor of his catering business, Miami Catering. He loved his job as Property Manager at Club 389. Todd was known as the ultimate grill master and he made the best chowder in town. He loved his family, his furry friend, Tallulah, the Miami Dolphins, summertime cookouts, and he loved making people laugh.

Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. Winthrop on Thursday, April 25, at 9AM, followed by a funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church (St. Michael’s Parish) 320 Winthrop St. Winthrop, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be private. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, April 24, from 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Tourette Association of America-MA Chapter, 21 Shields St. Mansfield, MA. 02048.
