She married the late John S. Kosmo 73 years ago and enjoyed many years of a loving relationship.

Amelia lead a quiet life her 92 years. She worked diligently as a seamstress for many years until retirement. Later in life she volunteered with childhood daycare, which she so enjoyed. She was a breast cancer survivor, and subsequently became a volunteer greeter at the Hudner Oncology Center of St. Anne’s Hospital.

Amelia was a devoted member of Calvary Temple in Fall River for nearly 40 years. She enjoyed participating in church activities, and as a member of the seniors group, she dedicated precious time with the elderly.

She met the late Mary Isherwood at church and the two became inseparable friends. They helped each other daily with chores and appointments and truly became dependent on each other’s companionship. They so enjoyed traveling together, including many visits to family in CA.
