SOMERSET… Doris M. (Cournoyer) Taylor, 90, formerly of Fall River passed away Saturday April 20, 2024.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Paul and Aldea (Deloriere) Cournoyer. She was the spouse of the late John F. Taylor Jr. and she had lived in the Fall River area her entire life.
Doris loved her family and her home life. Doris had many hobbies, she was always the happiest sitting in the backyard in the warm sunshine working on her tan. She always loved watching some of her favorite shows Golden Girls, Walker the Texas Ranger, and Dean Martin Roasts.
Doris also tried her luck at St Bernadette's Bingo on Saturday nights along with her bingo pals. She lead a simple but fulfilling life.
Survivors include a Son: Brian Taylor, 2 Daughters: Laurie A. Wilkey and her husband Robert and Michelle L. Taylor, 4 Grandchildren and several Nieces & Nephews. Doris was predeceased by 6 brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral services to which relatives and friends are invited to will be held Wednesday April 24, 2024 at 9:00 AM at SOUTH COST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St, Fall River. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM at Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St, Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Stafford Rd, Fall River.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 23 from 5-7pm.
