KINSELLA, JOSEPH P, of Holbrook and South Boston, MA passed away suddenly at age 63 on April 15, 2024. Joe was born and raised in South Boston on May 20, 1960, and was the devoted son of the late Rosemary (Sylva) Kinsella and Joseph J. Kinsella and stepson of the late Richard Coyle. Loving son-in-law of the late Margaret T. Alessi and Frank Alessi.
Adoring husband to Donna Alessi Kinsella, whom he leaves. Loving father to Thomas and his wife Jenny Kinsella, Jaylannie, Alexis and Daria. Dear brother to Beverly McDonough, Fred Seavey and the late Thomas Kinsella and Lisa Kinsella Wideman. Loving Papa to Bella and Thomas, Jr. Exceptional brother-in-law to Paul Alessi, Sandra Alessi and David Alessi and survived by dozens of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives. Dad to fur babies, Marley and Sedona.
A veteran of the United States Army, in which he served his country with pride and honor.
Devoted and beloved employee of Corcoran Jennison Management Company for 35 years. The friendships he made are countless and he considered them a significant part of his extended family.
Joe was the center of our world. He did everything for everyone. It is impossible to convey the generosity of his constant love and care for all of us he leaves behind. Joe loved to talk and regaled us all with his endless stories, even the ones we heard more than a few times.
So as Joe now takes care of our loved ones in Heaven, there are no words his family can share with you how profound his passing is and what it means to us. He will be missed always and forever, and we are beyond blessed for knowing him and fortunate to be loved by him.
May his spirit fly free.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Casper Funeral Home located at 187 Dorchester Street in SOUTH BOSTON on April 21, 2024, from 1-5 PM. Interment service will be private.
