Virginia “Jenny” Morgan Miles, 85, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at The Oaks Nursing and Personal Care Home, in Marshallville, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Friday, April 19, 2024, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Dr. Lloyd Stembridge and Pastor Larry Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Miles was born June 1, 1938, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Hollis Preston & Abigail Tucker Morgan. Mrs. Miles was the office manager for Dr. Mann’s office for many years. She was a loving and generous person and had a deep love for others. Mrs. Miles was a member of Arbor Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two sons: David & Janie Miles and Jeff & Tammy Miles, all of Fitzgerald; three grandchildren: Jeremy & Lisa Miles, Erin & Jonathan Hester and Matthew & Gracie Miles; two great-grandchildren: Landon Miles and Jordan Miles; and a sister, Linda Griner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald B. Miles and five siblings.
