Patricia M. “Trisha” Hawkins, 57, of Cobble Hill, Lincoln, died Monday, April 15, 2024 at The Miriam Hospital in Providence. She was the daughter of the late David G. and Carol (Trinque) Hawkins.
Born in California, she had most recently lived in Lincoln after moving from Chepachet in 2009. Patricia had worked at the Fogarty Center for over 35 years.
Trisha was a caring and loving woman who loved doing word search books, bowling and writing. She loved Elvis and 50's music and loved to dance and sing.
She loved her sparkling and glittery clothing and she truly loved to shine.
She loved going on trips to Ocean City where she would play the Elvis machines.
She worked at the Fogarty Center for more than 35 years where she participated in many activities including the Special Olympics. She made many wonderful supportive relationships throughout her time there.
She loved her longtime partner Richard whom she will now join in heaven.
She leaves behind her cousin Bobby Jean in California and the extended families of Dede Jennings, Gail Marshall and Wendy Harrison. They were all such a big part of her life.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 11am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston. Visitation will be Thursday morning, 10-11am. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Fogarty Center, 220 Day Program, 310 Maple Ave STE 102, Barrington, RI 02806
