Obituary

Donald W. Logan, 84, formerly of Worcester and Gainesville, VA died Saturday, April 6th in Westborough Health Center. His loving wife of 55 years, Susan M. “Sue” (Sullivan) Logan died in 2017. He leaves his children, Mary Beth Tenca and her husband, Timothy of East Falmouth; Timothy Logan of Hatfield, MA; Carolyn Logan of Oxford; and Kelli George and her husband, Scott of Gainesville, VA; a brother, Jerry Logan and his wife, Yvonne of Rutland; and seven grandchildren, Ryan, Meghan, and Delaney Tenca; Joshua and Nicholas Logan; and Nathan and Owen George. He was predeceased by two sisters, Penny Logan and Kathleen Dunn.
He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Donald W. and Mildred Logan. Donald attended NorthEastern University which allowed him to set the foundation for a successful career as a Mortgage Broker
Outside of his professional endeavors, Donald had a zest for life that was contagious to all who knew him. He had a passion for golfing, spending countless weekends on the green perfecting his swing. His love for travel took him to destinations far and wide.
Donald was known for his adventurous spirit, big personality, and legendary cowboy hat. His signature cowboy hat made it easy for his kids and grandkids to spot him in the stands as he supported them at their sporting events. He loved a good restaurant and never turned down a steak. The more expensive the better! One of his favorite pastimes was discussing politics and challenging you about any topic under the sun. He loved a good debate.
Above all else, Donald will be remembered for his unwavering love and support of his family, infectious laughter, and genuine love for life. He leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and a profound impact on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
His funeral will be on Saturday, April 20th in St. John’s Church, 44 Temple Street, Worcester with a Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. There are no calling hours.
