Chace Eramy “Sharpie” Redman, of Jamaica Plain, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 12th. He was 20. Born in Boston, he was the cherished son of Damian and Robin (Toomey) Redman.
Chace was a strong willed and fun loving young man. He was very active and always on the go. Chace made sure that when he was out with his family he was dressed to the nines and was always looking his best. He loved going on walks at Castle Island, the Boston Common, Boston’s Public Garden and the cemetery. Chace always looked forward to family trips up to Old Orchard Beach and York, Maine.
When it came to politics Chace was a fanatic. He enjoyed watching all the debates and keeping up with current political events. When Chace was not debating over politics, he would watch all the game shows on TV, especially Family Feud. He loved playing music, listening to all the hottest gossip and cheering on his favorite football team, the New England Patriots, and enjoying a nice cold can of Pepsi. Chace’s biggest passion was being a big brother. Shayne was his world.
Chace was the beloved brother of the late Shayne Robert Redman and Catarina and Monica Redman. He was the loving grandson of Christine Parris and the late Robert and Janet Toomey. He was the proud owner of his devoted and faithful sidekick Luna his dog who was constantly by his side. He was the dear friend of Olivia Wiley. Chace is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, on Friday, April 19th at 9:30 AM, followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 179 Summer St., Somerville, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Chace’s family on Thursday, April 18th, from 4 to 8 PM in the funeral home. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
