Shirley Jewel Paulk Folds, 88, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, April 5, 2024, at Pruitt Health of Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Sunday, April 7, 2024, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Richard Baker and the Rev. Dewain Joiner officiating. Interment will follow in the Billy Paulk Family Cemetery in Irwin County, Georgia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Folds was born June 18, 1935, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late William Edwin & Minnie Mae Tyson Paulk. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked for several healthcare facilities. Mrs. Folds was a member of the Ocilla Church of God.
She is survived by her sister, Pat Smith & James of Fitzgerald; a brother, Jerry Paulk of Fitzgerald; a grandson, William Randall Folds, Jr.; great-grandchildren: Christopher Folds, Jennifer Folds and Jessica Folds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Lee Folds; her son, William Randall Folds; a brother, William Bill Paulk and a sister, Dot Roush.
