Roberts, Patricia A. (McQuillan), 65 of Rockland, MA, passed away peacefully at the South Shore Hospital on April 3, 2024, after a long illness.
Loving daughter of the late Edward and Geraldine (Foley) McQuillan. Beloved wife of 42 years of Terry Roberts. Devoted mother of Dennis Roberts of Rockland, MA. Loving sister of Donna Whitney, Bethel, ME, Tom McQuillan of Marshfield, MA, and Ed McQuillan of Braintree, MA. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Patti grew up in Dorchester and attended the Gate of Heaven High School in South Boston and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Weymouth. She enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was stationed at the San Diego Naval Station in California where she met and married her husband. After her discharge from the Navy, her husband was stationed in Guam where they lived for six years. After Terry retired from the Navy, Patti and her family returned to Massachusetts where they lived in Braintree and later Rockland. She was a former employee of Gately, Morgan, and Kilfoyle Insurance Agency in Randolph (later Risk Strategies).
Patti will be buried at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Graveside service will be private.
