Obituary



WHITEFIELD ----James Farricy, 69, died Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Weeks Memorial Hospital in Lancaster after a period of declining health.

He was born in Framingham, MA, one of two sons of Francis and Christine (Forrester) Farricy. Jim entered the US Navy and served on the USS America during the Vietnam War. After returning, Jim became a tractor trailer driver and operated heavy equipment. He last working for DJS Enterprises of Manchester.

Jim spent his free time either in the woods hunting or traveling the countryside riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Family members include his wife Cheryl (Goode) Farricy of Whitefield; three daughters: Sheila (Ricky Adams) Farricy of Gilmanton; Crystal (Tom) Cole of Gilford; Samantha (Chad) Greenwood of Belmont; eight grandchildren; a brother Frank Farricy of Massachusetts; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Jesse Farricy.

Calling Hours will be Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 12 to 1pm in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home & Cremation Services/Emmons Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, NH, 03246.

Burial will be held at 2pm following calling hours at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303.
