John T. Kelley, 89, affectionately known as Jack, passed away peacefully, Monday, March 25th, 2024. He was surrounded by his loving family. Born in Jamaica Plain, he was the son of the late John T. Kelley and Mary (Burke) Kelley and beloved husband of Nellie (Mendel) Kelley.
Jack was a long time resident of Humarock, MA and recently moved to Linden Ponds Senior Living Community in Hingham. He enjoyed a lifelong career with Western Electric Co. and AT&T. He served as a Grand Knight with the Rochester, NY Knights of Columbus and had a passion for golf, history, travel and collecting coins for his grandchildren. He was a lifelong fan of the Red Sox and Patriots.
He is survived by his loving wife Nan of 66 years, daughter Christine and son-in-law Richard Elliott of Auburn, NY, three granddaughters, one great-granddaughter, his brother Paul and sister-in-law Alice, as well as several loving friends.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
