Obituary

Kenneth John Pisani, a lifelong resident of Franklin, died peacefully on Holy Thursday, March 28, 2024, surrounded by many loved ones. He was the husband of Joyce Jenny (Holmes) Pisani to whom he was married on December 19, 1963.

Born in Franklin, Massachusetts on January 19, 1943, he was the ninth child of the late Anthony J. and Pearl (Cote) Pisani.

He was raised and educated in Franklin and was a 1961 graduate of Marion High School in Framingham.

Ken was a jack of all trades who could fix anything. He provided for his family working multiple jobs but primarily as a truck driver. He enjoyed playing cribbage, completing cryptogram puzzles and spending time up at the lake in New Hampshire with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid reader and frequent patron of the Franklin public library.

Ken was predeceased by his daughter, Pearl (Peg) Pisani; and siblings, Eileen D’Angelo, Claire Santagata, Robert Pisani, Sandra Hosford, Ronald Pisani, Norman Pisani, and William Pisani.

In addition to his wife, Ken leaves behind his children and their spouses; Nova and Chris Hodge, Kerry and Paul Connolly, Kenny and Anita Pisani, Derek and Jennifer Pisani, and his son-in-law, Joseph Giani.

Papa Ken was a loving grandfather to Jimmy, Alyssa, Jody, Katie, Tyler, William, Thomas, Jordan, Mary, Justin, David, Patrick, Olivia, and Joshua; and great-grandpapa to Connor, Kira, Layla and Dutton.

He also leaves behind his siblings; Rodney Pisani, Rae Astbury, and Toni Celleme; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 9AM from Charles F.Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St, Franklin, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 1 Church Sq, Franklin.

Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Franklin.

Calling hours are Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
