Katherine R. (Nalen) Roberto of Revere, formerly of East Boston, passed away on March 28, 2024. She was 82 years old. Born in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of the late Gertrude M. (Marshall) and Anthony W. Nalen.
Katherine was a dedicated mom, grandmother and sister. She was a member of the Winthrop Lodge of Elks #1078.
Katherine was the beloved mother of Katherine R. Kneeland (Paul) of Saugus, Laura M. Roper (Larry) of Lynnfield and Toni M. Roberto (Jarred Ciampi) of Wakefield. She was the adored grandmother of Alex and Jordan Roper, Paul and Christopher Kneeland and Domenic Ciampi. Katherine was the dear sister of the late George, Louis and Anthony Nalen. Katherine held a special place in her heart for her Godson, Steven Nalen (Diane) of Winthrop.
Visiting hours will be held in the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. Winthrop, on Thursday, April 4, from 4-6PM, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home beginning at 6PM.
