Obituary

Helen Webster, 90, of Londonderry, NH passed away peacefully on Thursday March 21, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Helen was born in Ceb, Yugoslavia on December 10, 1933, a daughter of the late Nickolaus and Theresa (Huberd) Stock.

She had been a resident of Londonderry for the majority of her life and owned and operated Helen’s Beauty Haven for many years. She and her husband, Arthur were longtime parishioners of St. Jude’s Parish in Londonderry where they played several active roles.

Helen was a kind, generous, gentle yet strong, proud woman. Family meant everything to her. She enjoyed making many memories over the summers at her lake home with all of her family especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved teaching her whole family how to bake and cook her German cuisine and she loved sharing it with others. She enjoyed gardening, making fresh assorted jams and home-baked bread, as well as, crocheting afghans for family, friends, church fairs and the homeless.

She is survived by three sons, Gary Webster and his wife Sandy of East Derry, NH, David Webster of Londonderry, and Alan Webster and his wife Christine of Auburn, NH, one daughter, Melody Royer and her husband Roger of Bow, NH, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one sister, Winnie Smith of Deerfield, NH, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in 2005 by her husband of 49 years, Arthur D. Webster. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Annie Matties and Theresa Robinson.

Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday April 5, 2024 at 10:00am in St. Jude’s Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Parish Building Fund.
