Marion F. (Hally) O’Donnell, a lifelong resident of Medford, passed away at her home on Saturday evening, March 16, 2024. She was 76 years old.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on May 21, 1947, she was the beloved daughter of the late John C. and Helen T. (McLaughlin). Marion was retired from the VNA as a Home Health Aid in her spare time, Marion enjoyed cooking, Sunday dinner’s, watching movies and eating out with her family and friends. She also loved listening to music, watching movies and had an infectious laughter. Marion was a selfless person who was always willing to help anyone in need. She will be dearly missed.
Marion is survived by her loving children; Ronnie W. O’Donnell of Medford, Ned and his wife Michelle O’Donnell of Medford and Kristin J. and her husband Albert Richards of Holbrook, grandchildren; Kayla and Jake O’Donnell and Louis Stamerra, Jr. and several nieces and nephews. She was also a good friend of the Reppucci family and David Foley of Medford. Marion was the sister of the late Regina M. Nee and dear friend; Ralph Cunningham.
Her funeral will be held from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian burial, celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 4 to 7 PM. Interment will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
