QUINTANA, Jorge R. Of Hyde Park, formerly of Roslindale, and Guatemala City, Guatemala, passed away on March 14, 2024. Loving son of the late Rafael and Martha (Garcia) Quintana. Beloved husband of Martha (Coloma) Quintana. Devoted father of Susan Romero and her husband Chris of Taunton, and Steven Quintana and his wife Alejandra of Hyde Park. Loving papa of Clarissa, Christopher, Adelia, Alejandro, and Naomi. Brother of Irma, Blanca, Raul, Judith, and the late Erwin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jorge was a God-fearing man, and an extraordinary person whose presence brighten any day and the lives of those around him. Known for his kindness, good sense of humor and unwavering compassion, Jorge touched the hearts of many with his love for making people laugh with his jokes and genuine warmth. Whether, through acts of generosity or his words of wisdom, he left an indelible mark on the world, reminding us of all the power of love and connection. Jorge will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the memories of those fortunate enough to have known them.
A visitation will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Thursday, March 21st from 10-11am, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home beginning at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park.
