Loretta Ann (Ammon) Purnell, 89, formerly of Anderson died March 14, 2024 at Alexandria Health and Rehab.
She was born November 24, 1934 in Muncie, the daughter of William H. and Gladys Ammon.
She was a homemaker and a laborer for dry cleaners.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Judy Stormes of Muncie; grandsons, Kasey Purnell of Versailles and Michael Purnell; granddaughters, Elizabeth, Layla and Brianna; several great-grandchildren including Brian Purnell and niece, Stephanie Butterfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Franklin Purnell and her sons, John Duwayne Purnell and Billy Purnell.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Daleville.
