Mr. Santha Kumar TR, a resident of Billerica, passed away at his home, following a long illness, on Friday evening, March 15, 2024. He was 57 years old.
Born in Pondicherry, India, he was the beloved son of Ranganathan TP and Gowri Kannan. Santha Kumar earned his Ph.D. from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, India and was employed as an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Microbiology at Columbia University Medical Center, New York City. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching TV, and reading books. Santha Kumar will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife; Seema Gollamudi of Billerica, son; Prajwal Kumar of Billerica, parents; Ranganathan TP and Gowri Kannan, siblings; Jawahar Mohan Tirupapuliyur, Padma Priya Chandrasekar, Kannan Ranganathan, and other relatives.
His Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Chapel at Linwood Cemetery, 41 John Ward Avenue, Haverhill, Massachusetts 01830 on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held in the chapel, prior to the service, from 9:30 AM to 11 AM with ample parking on site.
