LACONIA ---- Robert “Bob” Joseph Rumery Sr., 54, of Province Street, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Concord Hospital – Laconia.
Bob was born on August 8, 1969, in Milford, MA, the son of Craig Rumery Sr., and Christina (Loftus) Peters.
Bob worked as a mason for Mas-Con. He was a kind man with a big heart. He taught every single one of his children how to swim. He enjoyed being with family and showed interest in anything that they were interested in, even if he did not know much about the topic or activity. Bob would often be found star gazing with his son, Logan, on the roof with his children, or hanging out with his daughter, Viviana’s cat the Bear. He also enjoyed snowmobiling.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Naomi (Smart) Rumery; sons Logan Rumery and Robert Rumery Jr., of Laconia, NH; daughters Samantha Sarson and her husband Henry and Viviana Rumery, of Laconia, NH; brother Craig Rumery Jr. and his wife Pam, of Meredith, NH; sister Cindy Bilodeau and her husband Jeff, of Gilford, NH; grandchild Maddi Sarson; nephews Carter Rumery and Wyatt Bilodeau; and mother-in-law Gloria Puffinburger. Bob is predeceased by his father.
The family would like to give a special thank you to their Mas-Con family, especially Debbie and Lydia. Thank you for being such big supporters.
Calling Hours will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 4:00pm-6:00pm in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 1:00pm - 7:00pm at Laconia Elks Lodge 876, 17 Sugarbush Lane, Laconia, NH.
