John C. McRobbie Jr, age 83, passed away on March 9, 2024 at Renaissance Manor Nursing Home in Holyoke. He was born on July 20, 1940 in Ludlow, son of the late John C. McRobbie Sr and Gladys (Whitney) McRobbie. John served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of New Life Christian Center in Westfield. He worked as a truck driver for many years before he retired. He is survived by his wife Janet McRobbie of Springfield; three sons, Scott McRobbie of Springfield, Gavin McRobbie Springfield and Craig McRobbie of Arkansas; one daughter, Susan Galanis of Springfield; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brother Ronald McRobbie. A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 9:00 AM in the Chapel of the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam .
