GILFORD ---- Robert Adamson Edwards, 85, of Gilford, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Golden View Healthcare Center in Meredith.
Robert was born on July 29, 1938, in Brooklyn, NY, the son of John and Elin (Adamson) Edwards. He graduated from Bedford Stuyvesant High School, NYC, NY, and New England College, Henniker, NH.
He enjoyed singing, NASCAR racing, and traveling. Work was a large part of his life; he was a scheduling engineer for multiple construction companies. Upon retirement, Robert volunteered at multiple agencies in NH.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joan (Bleistein) Edwards, sons Andrew Edwards and his wife Lisa, Eric Edwards and his wife Berkly, daughter Robin Cifone, grandchildren Stephanie Cifone, Jennifer Cifone, Delaney Edwards and Andrew Jurek, brother Thomas Edwards and his wife Donna, and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and a nephew. Robert is predeceased by his parents, son-in-law Stephen Cifone and grandson Mark Cifone.
There will be no services.
