Cheryl A. Pizzi, age 69, of East Boston passed away peacefully, February 10, 2024. Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Filippa (Piccidaci) Pizzi
Remembered by HER babies Lisa Koczera, Christine O’Toole and Abby Riley and her lifelong friend Laura Lane. There were many others but, there isn’t enough space in any paper to list them all. Cheryl was a lifelong employee of the MBTA. She had a love of the ocean, travel, holiday decorations and beanie babies. If she wasn’t shopping or lounging on a beach, you would find her at a casino winning. Everyone who knew her knew that her doors were always open, no matter the time of night. She was our mother in many aspects. Brutally honest at times but always with a heart of gold. She taught us how to act like ladies, hold our own like men and never let us give up. She taught us how to build a house and take it apart again. She taught us all she could and never let us fail. She was released from pain to have all of the Dunkin Donuts she can get and carry on loving us from above. We thank the Jeffries Point friends and neighbors for always showing up for her no matter what.
