Paul M. Lavoie, 69, of Derry, NH, died peacefully on Saturday March 9th, 2024, in his home with family by his side. He was born on April 19th, 1954, in Boston, MA, the son of Armand H. Lavoie and Viola V. (Bacon) Lavoie.
Paul grew up in Hampstead, NH, and graduated from Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH where he met his high school sweetheart, Pamela Laycock. He and Pamela were married on June 17th, 1978, at the First Parish Congregational Church in East Derry, NH. They had one son together named Jason Lavoie.
Paul adored being by the sea, having spent many summers in Wells, Maine, at his family’s beach home. Paul loved boating, deep sea fishing, as well as clam digging. Paul had a love of automobiles and owned his own auto repair business for over forty years in Hampstead, NH.
He is survived by his son Jason Lavoie; brother Steven E. Lavoie, sister Joanne (Lavoie) Cain, as well as several nieces and nephews. Paul is predeceased by his wife, Pamela (Laycock) Lavoie and his brother Allan J. Lavoie.
