Miguel Pires Mendes (43) of Brockton died March 3rd unexpectedly at home.
He was born in Mosteiros, Fogo, Cabo Verde son of Italia Pires of Cabo Verde and the late Sergio Mendes. Miguel worked in the transportation industry.
In addition to his mother he is survived by 2 sons, Sergio and James Mendes, his daughter, Jennifer Mendes, 6 brothers, Prinio Pires, Valdemiro Pires, Josemar Timas, Eugenio Pires, Luis Manuel Pires and Agustinho, 9 sisters, Maria Pires, Ivety Pires, Maria Jesus Pires, Graciete Timas, Eunice Pires, Elsa Pires, Italia Pires, Elmas Correia and Edilei Pires, nieces and nephews, Juanildo Teixeira, Jessica Teixeira, Diolisa Pires and Luis Gomes.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Friday March 15th from 5-8 pm. Services in the Funeral Home Saturday March 16th at 9 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
