Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the untimely passing of Cameron Anthony Grassis, 13, of Londonderry, NH. He passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday March 6, 2024 at his home. Cameron was born in Manchester, NH on October 16, 2010, a son of Ryan and Nikki (Olechna) Grassis. Cameron had resided in Londonderry for the past nine years. Cam, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, departed this world far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and kindness.

Cameron was a vibrant soul, cherished by all who know him. He had an insatiable zest for life and a heart as big as the sky. He found joy in the simple pleasures of spending time with friends, playing football, strumming his guitar, and carving through the snow on his snowboard. His passion for music was unmatched, his fingers effortlessly plucking our melodies from different generations with remarkable ease.

A true enthusiast, Cameron poured his heart into everything he loved. Whether he was perfecting his skills on the football field or serenading us with his guitar, his dedication knew no bounds. Yet, amidst his pursuits, he never lost his playful spirit. Known for his quick wit and infectious humor, Cameron brightened every room he entered with his silly antics and jovial demeanor. But perhaps Cameron’s most enduring legacy lies in his compassionate heart. He was a beacon of empathy, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need and stand up for the underdog. His genuine care and unwavering support touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts.

Cameron shared a special bond with his family, especially his parents and sister. He cherished moments spent discussing music, cars, and sport with his dad. Cam and his mom loved to joke and take part in ridiculous shenanigans, adding laughter and joy to their home. He was Katie's biggest cheerleader and confidant, a steadfast presence in her life. Together, the family shared treasured memories of family movie nights, where Cameron's favorite candy, Whoppers, added a sweet touch to their time together.

Though Cameron's time with us was too brief, his spirit will forever live on in our memories. His infectious laughter, compassionate soul, and boundless love will continue to guide us through the darkest of days. In his honor, let us strive to embody his kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for one another.

Cameron, you will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May you rest in eternal peace, knowing that you are forever loved.

In addition to his parents, Cameron is survived by his sister, Katie Grassis, his maternal grandparents, David and Susan Olechna, and Nick and Marilyn Armento, his paternal grandparents, Don and Pat Grassis, his great-grandparents, Walter and Patricia Olechna, aunts and uncles, Alex and Melissa Armento, Mike and Iza Olechna, David Olechna, Rick Olechna, Peyton Olechna, Zack and Breanna Armento and Jon and Jessica Grassis. Cameron also leaves his cousins, Baylee, Whitney, Brody, Lincoln, Logan, Nathan, Emma, and Anna, and his close family friends, Jay, Ali and Cole Ferriero. He was predeceased by his aunt, Kyla Ryng.

Calling hours will be held on Monday March 11, 2024 from 4 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00am at St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry with cremation to follow.
