PHOENIX, AZ- Kathleen “Kathy” Jean Chipman, age 64, passed away on March 4, 2024, in Phoenix.
She was born in Portland, Maine on Oct. 2, 1959, a daughter of Donald and Anne (Pedneault) Powers.
She graduated from Gray-New Gloucester High School and later from Bernard’s Cosmetology School.
Over her working years, Kathy was employed at Porteous and Merle Norman.
Kathy will always be remembered for her love of cats, crafts, music – especially going to concerts, and helping others in need.
She is predeceased by her son- Donald Kelly; and her father- Donald Powers.
Kathy is survived by her mother- Anne Powers; her longtime companion- Wesley Boerm; siblings- Linda Shane, Suzanne Powers, Cornine Burnham, Richard Powers, and Michael Powers.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at South Buxton (Tory Hill) Cemetery.
