Petrit Nuri, 70, of Sutton formerly of Worcester died Tuesday, February 27th in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence surrounded by his loving family. His wife of 36 years, Flora (Kurhasani) Nuri died in 2016. He leaves a daughter, Blerta Nuri and her husband, Donald Xhengo with whom he lived; two grandchildren, Alexa and Jurgen Xhengo both of Sutton.
He was born in Tirana, Albania the son of Sazan and Aferdita (Cipi) Nuri and immigrated to the United States in 1998. Petrit enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. It was a wonderful and rewarding experience allowing Petrit to create lasting memories, build strong relationships, and share his wisdom and love with the younger generation. Petrit was well educated and cheerful person.
His visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2nd from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. His graveside service will follow in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster Street, Worcester.
