David Crowell Mores, 79, resident of Hudson, New Hampshire since 1976 passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
David was born and raised in Tewksbury, Massachusetts graduating from Tewksbury Memorial High School class of 1962, where he was a member of the National Honor Society. He then graduated from Wentworth Institute (ASEE 1964, Tau Alpha Pi honor society) and Northeastern University (BSEE 1972, Tau Beta Pi honor society and MSE 1976) both in Boston, MA.
David pursued a 54 year career at Sanders Associates in Nashua, NH that later became Lockheed Sanders, Lockheed Martin and then BAE Systems where he retired in June 2011. After 5 years in engineering, David's interest changed to computers and information technology where he remained for the balance of his career in various roles in support of the engineering tools and computer networks of the enterprise.
Due to his father's hobby interest in electronics and ham radio (WIGMT), David’s early technical interests were similar. He helped his father in building ham radio gear and getting his own ham radio license (KITCX). As an adult David chose to live his life in a simple and personally satisfying way. David greatly enjoyed the company of his companionship cats over the years - Spiffer and then Mickey and Fluffy.
David was one of two children born to the late Robert Cleveland Mores and the late Ruth (Sheehy) Mores; and his late brother Robert Edward Mores, he was also the brother in law to the late Donna Connors.
David leaves his two nieces and their spouses, Karen and David of Pepperell, and Lisa and Jason of Tewksbury; his great nephew, Darien; and his great niece, Elena.
At his request, funeral services took place privately with burial in the Mores family lot at Tewksbury Cemetery.
