Donald M. O’Connor, age 83, passed away on February 9, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 24, 1940 in Springfield, son of the late Michael and Carroll (O’Leary) O’Connor. Donald served in the United States Coast Guard. He later worked as a Fire fighter for the City of Springfield for many years before he retired. He is survived by his wife Janet (Hutchinson) O’Connor of Springfield and one son Scott O’Connor of Springfield. He is predeceased by his brother and sister.
