Domenic A. Eno, Jr, 77

Dateline: Norton, MA

Domenic A. Eno, Jr, age 77, of Norton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at the Terraces in Orleans. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen R. (Maynard) Eno, to whom he was wed for fifty-six years.

Born in Cambridge, MA on August 15, 1946, he was a loving son of the late Domenic A., Sr and Marie (Faiella) Eno.

Dom grew up in the Mattapan Neighborhood of Boston and was a 1964 graduate of Hyde Park High School. He continued his education, graduating from the Culinary Institute of America and proudly served in the United States Army Reserve.

A resident of Norton for the past fifty-one years, Dom worked as a Food Service Director at the Ellis Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Norwood, prior to retiring.

A man of community involvement and supporter of the town’s youth, Dom was a founding member of Norton Youth Soccer as well as coached soccer and little league baseball. He was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Norton and a member of Ames Gun Club in Easton.

His family and friends were the essence of his life and Sunday dinners were always a special occasion. Dom was an avid golfer who also enjoyed traveling, swimming and creating lifelong family memories on beautiful Cape Cod in Wellfleet.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his devoted children: Karen M. Bain and her husband Roy of Eastham and Domenic D. Eno and his wife Wendy of Bourne. He was the cherished grandfather of Rachel Bain and her fiancé Brad Kimball of Norton, Alexis Andrasy and her husband James of Wareham and Domenic “DJ” Eno and his girlfriend Emily Arruda of Bourne. He was the dear brother of Annmarie Sharp and her husband Joe of Naples, Florida, the late Philip Eno, who is survived by his wife Patricia Eno of New Hampshire and is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, February 2nd from 3:00-5:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.

A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visitation on Friday at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
