Obituary

MANCHESTER ---- Janet Allard Alosa Mosher, 85, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024, after a period of declining heath, at the Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord.

Mrs. Mosher was born in Manchester, on February 9, 1938, the daughter of Robert and Hildreth (Philbrick) Allard.
Mrs. Mosher graduated from Colby Junior College and the University of New Hampshire with a teaching degree and began teaching at Concord High School in New Hampshire. She later earned a Master’s Degree from Antioch University. She began serving Manchester residents as a social worker at several organizations in the Queen City.

Mrs. Mosher is survived by her son Matthew Alosa of Manchester, grandchildren, Thomas Brown (Amy) of Windsor, CT, Samantha Brown and Christopher Brown of CT, and great-granddaughter Piper Brown of CT, grandson Joshua of Manchester, and great-grandchildren Brooke and Jaxson of Manchester. She is also survived by her brother Robert A. Allard (Margaret) of Portsmouth, sister Judith Allard Fredyma (James) of Contoocook, and brother Arthur ‘Champ’ Allard (Connie) of Portsmouth. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mosher is predeceased by her daughter Judi Alosa Brown, first husband Pat Alosa, and her second husband Rodney Mosher.

Mrs. Mosher will be interred at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH, alongside her husband Rodney, at the convenience of her immediate family. Her sense of joy will be missed by all who knew her.
