Pauline A. (Ward) Vojtas, age 96, of Medford passed away on Saturday, December 9th, at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. Born in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Fabbo) Ward. She was predeceased by her sister, Marion (Ward) Santoro.
Pauline was employed for most of her life at Jordan Marsh, where she was beloved by her fellow employees. She also was an AVON representative. In her earlier years, she was an avid traveler visiting many countries including her favorite destination, Disney World. Among her interests were stamp collecting, coin collecting and a love of music. In her later years, she remained very active with Senior Citizens groups. She will be remembered for her lighthearted nature.
Pauline is survived by her cherished Godson, Stephen Ring of Yarmouthport, MA and two nieces, Donna Santoro of Medford, MA and Susan Santoro of Londonderry, NH.
Visitation hours for family and friends will be held at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford, MA 02155 on Saturday, December 16th from 9:30 through 11:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11 am. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden, MA.
