Grace Velazco, 53, of Ventura, CA, passed away on October 24th, in Glendora, CA. Grace was born in Santa Paula, CA to Daniel and Mary Medrano on July 27th 1970. She went to high school at Ventura High School and graduated in 1988. She went to earn a degree from CSU Northridge. Her career as an Event Planner lead to her great success with the Rose Bowl, Oscars, and The PGA championships. She enjoyed spending her time in the outdoors, and traveling all over the country to be with her friends and family.
Grace is survived by her husband of 19 years, Jose, sister, Danielle, mother, Mary, and nieces, Nicole, Mikayla, In-laws, Silvia Velazco, Mayra Velazco, Rodrigo Velazco and all of her loved family and friends. Those who knew Grace would say her smile could light up a room. Her heart and generosity stretched miles over the world.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours to be held on Saturday morning November 4, 2023 from 11:00 to 1:00pm in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main Street Ventura, where a funeral service will follow in the funeral home's chapel at 1:00pm. Her celebration of life is being planned for mid November for family and friends who are traveling from out of town.
