Sara Perez Sanabria, 76, of New Bedford passed away at home on Tuesday September 17, 2019 surrounded by her family.
Born in Lares, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Juan Perez Acevedo and Clothilde Sanabria Rebot, she lived in Puerto Rico for most of her life before moving to New Bedford four years ago.
Sara was a Christian. She loved to cook and care for her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Sonia Crespo; her siblings, Esperanza Perez, Monserrate Perez, Juana Perez, Santia Perez, and Edrgardo Perez; two grandchildren, Elisa Gonzalez and Edgar Benitez; three great-grandchildren, Michael, Brihana, and Yadriel; and many nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday September 20, 2019 at 11 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
