Eileen Mary McGrath (McMullin), age 72, of Jamaica Plain, MA passed away suddenly at her home in Canton on August 14, 2019. Eileen was born in Jamaica Plain, graduated from Hyde Park High School, lived for many years in Roslindale and has been a Canton resident for the past 20 years. Eileen worked in the Admissions Office at Arbor Hospital for over 30 years also supporting the department as a legal clerk and Notary.
She was the beloved wife of the late Michael McGrath, mother of two children, Phillip (Charlie) Hiltz and Lynne Locayo (Hiltz) and sister of one brother John (Mack) McMullin who predeceased her and is survived by one daughter, Maura Hiltz, and two sisters, Joanne Waithaka (McMullin) Mary Teehan (McMullin).
Eileen leaves six grandchildren: Kelly Auchterlonie and Layla Kourani; Brittany Gay (Hiltz) and Shalyn Hiltz; and Veronica Contreras (Builes) and Jonathan Builes and seven great-grandchildren: Khami; Aidan, Emma, and Liam Lucas, Maya and Adanna Lynn.
Eileen will be remembered for her wry sense of humor, unique insights, artistic talent and love of the ocean.
